Our business was created from a deep desire to help better the quality of life for patients having successfully claimed against the Road Accident Fund or Medical Negligence claims.
We discovered that the practical application of the funds to the improvement of a person’s life is often lost in translation as not every family understands the purpose of different trusts and some struggle to make the trust work for them.
This realization led us to helping frustrated legal professionals (trustees) and banking institutions by managing the trust process for them. We ensure the longevity and best use for the finances of the trust, allowing professionals to peacefully serve as trustees, knowing well that the beneficiaries are well looked after.
We have come to realise that each case is unique and we therefore tailor the process for each of the cases we work with. However, some processes are very simple and can be easily managed. We work on a minimum of a 6 months contract. We work on a flat fee per month - this allows for better planning.
A simple process would look as follows:
We will meet with the beneficiary / family before the initial trust meeting
- This helps us complete a realistic needs assessment that can then be financially viable
We set up communication and request systems
If the patient needs admission we organise same.
We assist clients in selecting homes and adapted vehicles
We put a plan in place to assist with shopping (basic personal care), caregivers, therapies (organising and scheduling therapies), hospital visitation and securing employment.
We monitor the systems in place and allow each beneficiary the best chance at a quality filled life.
We set monthly goals
A detailed report is provided monthly to each trust on the processes and interventions we have put in place.
